  • Define what internationalism is. 
  • How is NATO different from the League of Nations?
  • Pick a word or a phrase that defines what NATO's goals/ambitions are.
  • What is the Service Men's Readjustment Act, how does it impact soldiers?
  • How were African American soldiers impacted after the war, list 2 positive things, and at least 1 negative thing.

Read, take notes on chapter 32 from the tci text.
  • Answer the following guiding questions from the chapter.
    • Who does the economic collapse of the late 1920s impact the most men or women? Explain why.
    • Hypothesize how farm foreclosures will impact the US? Exclude any food shortage discussion that you might think of, I am looking for less obvious impacts.
    • How does eviction and starvation go hand in hand?
    • How does weather negatively impact farms and the people of the US during the 1920s? Be detailed. 
  • Due Wednesday 1/27/16
Daily Activities:
Reviewed the basic plans regarding how to fix the Great Depression. Also discussed what Hoover's plan to fix the problem was.

  • Write down the differences between the three plans we discussed (conservative, liberal, and radical) about how to fix the economic crisis (Great Depression) in class prior to finals week.
