Welcome Sophomores! On this page you will find important information in order to have a successful journey through your social studies class this year. Below you will find multiple buttons, homework/announcements, and resources. Check your announcements/homework on a daily basis in order to make sure you aren't missing any important information.
During the year we will study multiple facets of European and Latin American history. We will start in the pre-Renaissance period and work our way through Cold War in Europe. Similarly, we will work through ancient Latin American studies through the Cold War. You might be asking yourself how Europe and Latin America can/will be studied simultaneously? In order to understand that you will have to study how closely these two continents are intertwined throughout history (some of which you already did during your freshman year). We will bounce back and forth between these two continents and learn just how tightly connected they are. Remember you are sophomores honors students. During this year you will be expected to check this website on a daily basis in order to keep up with homework and what we are studying in class. |
